Oulu Gets Its First Contemporary Circus Festival And We're Part of It. This June, something completely new is coming to Oulu. From 12–18 June 2026, the city will pulse with contemporary circus as we host a brand new festival for the very first time and we at Lumo Company are proud to be one of the artists and collectives bringing it to life.

Together with Arctic Ensemble, TipTop Walkers, and circus artist Merri Heikkilä, we're building an event where artistic ambition, accessibility, and community genuinely come together. Performances will spill out across the city centre, Hiukkaavaara Circus Village, and more, from street shows and family programmes to experimental late-night club nights and big top spectacles.

It's vibrant, sensory, and full of joy, emotion, and conversation starters. Contemporary circus for everyone, experienced curiously and together.
